Long before Donna Fargo became known around the world as The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A., she had already discovered the power of words.
A former high school English teacher with a lifelong love of language, Donna has always believed that words can encourage, comfort, inspire, and bring people closer together.
That gift first captured the world’s attention through her songwriting. Her self-penned, Grammy Award-winning hit, “The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A.,” followed by “Funny Face,” established her as the first female country music artist to achieve back-to-back, million-selling number-one hit singles. Her remarkable career would bring numerous awards and honors, along with a catalog of beloved songs including “Superman,” “You Were Always There,” “You Can’t Be a Beacon,” and “Somebody Special.”
But Donna’s creativity has never been limited to music.
